COVID Plan
Thank you all for your continued patience and support as we move forward into our 2020/2021 season. As we approach the new season, our commitment remains to provide an opportunity for dancers to display their talents, learn new skills & be inspired in a fun and non-stressful setting, as safe as possible.
The safety of our staff and attendees will continue to be a priority as we enter the 2020/2021 season. We are implementing new measures to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone in attendance. As the situation is constantly evolving, our practices will as well. You will receive venue-specific guidelines prior to your event. The following measures are the current policies in place.
Registration
This year we are asking each studio to send one representative to our registration table to pick up a packet for the entire studio. Every dancer/teacher that the studio has registered will have an envelope containing all information they need for the day. (Room assignment, dance number, schedule, wrist band & observer band if ordered.) There will be a separate registration table for individual dancers that register without a studio.
We are limiting registration numbers at our events this year to allow more space between dancers during the convention. We are working with each venue to follow local and state guidelines.
We are requesting all studios to monitor their own dancers health before the convention and not to bring anyone that has shown symptoms or has been in contact with someone who has symptoms.
Temperature Checks
Masks
Observers
We are limiting the number of observers allowed in the rooms during the convention and will be spreading out the chairs to the appropriate distance recommended by local and state authorities.
Lunch and Schedule Breaks
Local and State Guidelines
We are providing all participants with their cities Covid-19 guidelines, encouraging all studios to be familiar and follow them while at our conventions. We will have them printed and available to view at each venue. We have also met with representatives from each venue to make sure they are implementing appropriate safety photocalls, maintaining a safe environment for our
staff and dancers.
